KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia, July 26, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- APMG-International is delighted to announce the official launch of its operations in South East Asia. Based in Malaysia's Petronas Towers, Kuala Lumpur, the office will be managed by Mun-Kit CHOONG.

APMG-International is responsible for managing the certification schemes associated with OGC's Best Management Practice, such as PRINCE2(R), ITIL(R) MSP(R), P3O(R) and P3M3(R). Its suite of certifications also includes specialist qualifications in Change Management and Service Catalogue.
Richard PHARRO, CEO of APMG-International, presided over the official launch, which took place on 26th July 2010 at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Kuala Lumpur. He said, This is a special moment for our accredited training community. Although we have many accredited organizations working in South East Asia, they have not had the service of a local office. We are delighted to redress this balance and expect more training companies will choose to become certified with APMG so they can offer our qualifications in this growing market.
Mun-Kit CHOONG, who will be managing the APMG office in Malaysia, was originally an accountant. He has many years experience in finance roles in the Asia Pacific ICT industry with Multi-National Companies (MNCs) including Compaq, IBM, Alcatel and Quint Wellington Redwood.
This is a very exciting time for me and for APMG as we roll out our services in Malaysia as well as the South East Asia region.
