The announcement, made at the annual APM meeting in Marco Island, Florida, marks an important move by the APM and Elsevier to increase the reach of the journal, particularly to a new generation of psychiatrists, and to promote consultation-liaison psychiatry as a field of growing importance. Elsevier will begin publication of the journal as of the first issue of 2011.
